Mental Health First Aid Champions are often line managers or supervisors; this 1-day training explores the impact of the latest thinking around mental health on the employer’s duty of care to all employees. The course includes discussion around stress risk assessments and reasonable adjustments in the workplace for someone who has mental health challenges.
In 2017 the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) introduced 6 Management Standards that can help employers put processes in place for properly managing work-related stress. On the MHFA Champion course Line managers are shown the six key areas of work design that will minimise pressure, manage potential stressors and limit the negative impact that the work could have on your employees.
